Most business equipment with a serial number and a resale value can be financed. That covers vehicles, farm and construction machinery, workshop and factory plant, catering kit, IT hardware and specialist trade equipment. If the item is identifiable, durable and used to earn money for your business, there is usually a lender willing to look at it.
At CW Asset Finance we regularly arrange funding for agricultural machinery, tractors, harvesters and livestock; HGVs, vans, minibuses and coaches; plant and construction equipment; CNC machine tools and woodworking machinery; groundscare and turf equipment; tree surgery and forestry kit; catering and hospitality equipment; healthcare equipment; IT and technology; modular buildings; warehouse racking; renewable energy; scaffolding; taxis; horseboxes; funeral vehicles; mobile CCTV towers; boats; caravans and static lodges; and motorhomes.
The practical limits are identification and value. Items that are consumable, built permanently into a property, or impossible to trace and resell are harder to fund, and some lenders simply do not write certain asset classes. Nothing is guaranteed — every application depends on the lender’s assessment of you, your business and the asset.
If you are unsure whether your equipment qualifies, tell us what it is and roughly what it costs. We will tell you honestly whether our panel of 60+ lenders covers it before you spend time on an application.
