Indicative decisions often come back in as little as 24 hours once we have the information a lender needs. Simple cases with a clear trading history and a standard asset tend to be quickest. Larger, more specialist or more complex cases take longer. We cannot promise a decision time, because the decision belongs to the lender rather than to us.
An indicative decision is not a formal offer. It tells you a lender is willing to proceed in principle and on what sort of terms. It can still change once the lender reviews full documentation, valuations or the asset itself.
You can help by having the supplier’s invoice or proforma, recent management figures or accounts, and director identification ready before you come to us. Chasing missing paperwork is usually what adds days to a case.
If the answer is no, we will tell you why where the lender allows us to, and be straight with you about whether another funder on the panel is likely to take a different view. Sometimes the honest answer is that the timing is wrong.
