Golf course machinery is expensive, works hard for part of the year, and is paid for out of income that arrives in a cluster. We arrange golf finance for clubs and greenkeeping teams — from a single greens mower to a complete turf machinery fleet or a course-wide irrigation system — with repayment profiles that follow the golfing year instead of ignoring it.
What you can fund
Greens & fairway mowers
Pedestrian, triple mower and wide-area units from any major marque.
Verti drain & aeration
Verti drains, turf aerators, top dressers, overseeders and scarifiers.

Golf course machinery finance
Golf course equipment holds its value well and has an established second-hand market, which makes it strong security and generally easy to fund. Whether it is one machine or a full fleet replacement, turf machinery can be funded on hire purchase to own outright, or on lease if the club prefers to upgrade on a cycle.
We fund the marques greenkeepers actually specify — Toro, John Deere, Ransomes, Jacobsen, Baroness, Charterhouse and Wiedenmann — new or used, from a dealer or at auction.
Mowers: greens, tees, fairway and rough
A greens mower is the machine a course is judged on, and most clubs run several. We fund pedestrian and triple mower units for greens and tees, fairway mowers, rough units and wide-area rotaries. Because a triple mower is a significant capital item replaced on a cycle, funding it rather than buying outright keeps the replacement programme predictable.
Aeration: verti drain, top dresser and turf aerator
Aeration and top dressing equipment is where a lot of clubs get caught out on budget. A verti drain, turf aerator, top dresser, overseeder or scarifier is used intensively for a few weeks a year and then parked — which is exactly the case for spreading the cost rather than committing reserves to a machine with a short working season.
Some clubs share this equipment across neighbouring courses or hire it in. If you would rather own it outright, funding usually costs less annually than repeat contractor hire.
Golf course irrigation systems
A golf course irrigation system is a different proposition from machinery. Installation runs into six figures on a full eighteen-hole scheme, the disruption is significant, and the system then lasts twenty years or more. That long working life is precisely why irrigation funds well — the term can be extended far beyond what machinery would allow, keeping the annual cost proportionate to a benefit measured in decades.
Golf course drainage schemes, reservoir works, pump houses and bunker rebuilds fund the same way, and can be combined into a single facility with the irrigation itself.
Sprayers, tractors and utility vehicles
Golf course sprayers, compact tractors, utility workhorses, trailers and attachments sit alongside the mowers and fund on the same facility. If you are re-equipping rather than replacing one machine, send us the whole list — a package almost always funds better than a series of separate agreements.
Repayments that follow the golfing year
Club income is not spread evenly across twelve months. Subscriptions land in a cluster, green fees peak in summer, and winter is when the machinery budget usually gets deferred. Several lenders on our panel will align repayments to a club’s subscription year or weight them towards the playing season, so the cost arrives when the money does.
Beyond golf: sports turf and grounds maintenance
The same funding suits sports turf machinery for football and cricket grounds, schools, estates, local authorities and grounds maintenance contractors. Greenkeeping machinery, ride on mower finance and wider turf equipment finance all work identically — only the season and the income pattern change.
